A Colorful Washi Paper Project

Gladiolus blooms from the end of July through August and this piece is created using vivid orange washi. Use scissors for the fine pieces at the center of the flower. The name of the flower comes from an ancient Roman sword "gladius", because of the sword shaped leaves.
